Lead and Purchase Optimization Efforts for Front End Product Funnels

Throughout my career, I have developed a passion and expertise for optimization. I learned early on that this something most companies do not pay enough attention to or don’t know how to do. The truth is A/B or split testing your funnels to improve conversion rates is one of the #1 things you can do to slash advertising costs and dramatically increase your revenue.

This is something my employers at ENTRE Institute learned very quickly. When I first started working there, they knew I had a background in optimization so they asked me to start running their tests for them. So I ran test after test, all their ideas, and they ended up all being losers.

I told them of a simple and easy test that I could run right now that would dramatically increase their funnels conversion rate but they couldn’t believe that something that simple would make a difference so they told me not to run it… I ended up doing it in secret because I was confident in my experience and has run this test across many funnels.

One week later, I showed the owner the results of my test… A doubling of their conversion rate. From that moment on, I was fully put in charge of testing and went on to reduce our cost per acquisition from $720 to $350 translating to $13.5M in yearly savings while maintaining the same amount of daily lead flow, all done through conversion rate optimization.

I was promoted to Marketing Operations Manager, developed a team of people to streamline this process and went on to launch 53 winning conversion rate optimizations with an average improvement of 39.4% in 1 year.

Before this at Millionaire Publishing, I achieved high impact CVR optimizations of 13, 29, 53 and even up to 101% improvements shifting external campaigns from in the red to in the black as well as significantly enhancing already profitable campaigns.

Today, I also work as a CRO consultant at MaxRev and diagnose and prescribe funnel optimizations for our clients that have resulted in 80, 117 and 200% increases in their funnels conversion rates.

Email Promo/Product Launch Strategy

One of the projects I am most proud of pulling off at ENTRE was their first large scale product launch of an AI course. I had experience launching products like this in the past with Millionaire Publishing and knew that ENTRE could benefit from the extra revenue these bring in. Using my proven framework, I laid out the entire go to market strategy for this promo and it ended up generating $800k in 1 week. This was the most successful promo that ENTRE had ever done and even outperformed most promos we ran at Millionaire Publishing.

Email Revenue Optimization

While working at ENTRE I made some significant optizations to their operations that lead to massive increases in revenue generated from email. One example was growing an engaged email audience from 0 to 270k+ leads using value driven content. This audience ended up being responsible for 90% of our AI promo revenue and has formed a hyper engaged base of leads to target for all future promos. I also performed a full audit of their emails when onboarded and made improvements such as cutting back on unnecessary emails and branding them to look more proseffional which lead to a 10x of email sales volume from 1 sale a day to 10 a day. The overall impact Increased email revenue 116% from $101k/week to $220k/week.

Constructed and Optimized Free and Buyer’s Email Gauntlets

During my time at Millionaire Publishing, I constructed, optimized and wrote copy for free and buyer’s gauntlets designed to maximize LTV by converting free leads to buyers and buyers to back end, hight-ticket customers. These gauntlets lead to 30-day LTVs of $100-$130 per buyer and contributed about 20% of our daily front end orders.

Abandon Cart Automations

During my time at Millionaire Publishing I mastered building Abandon Cart ARs improving product CVRs by up to 16.7%. I then applied this knowledge to ENTRE and split tested a new abandon cart against the old, bringing up daily email sales from 10 to 15 a day.

Welcome Series to New Applicants

I built a new, 90 day, email marketing series to replace Easy Pay Direct’s old short term nurture series using Pardot. This new series’ statistics improved upon their old one by up to 455%. Below is a sample of 3 of the emails.

Co-Founded Millionaire Publishing’s Acquisition Department

Increased new front end customers from 0 to 200 per day by spearheading the framework and startup of the company's acquisition department.

Co-managed an acquisition budget of $750k/month with 143% ROAS by working strategically with various media partners to ensure the health and effectiveness of external marketing campaigns through analysis of key metrics such as CTR, CVR, AOV, LTV and CPA.

Managed External Acquisition at Easy Pay Direct

Generated $6.3 million in monthly revenue processing requests using email marketing and social media retargeting with a budget of just $500/month giving the sales floor a possible $200k in revenue/month.

Facebook Ads

I built a multi-layered funnel designed to coax potential clients into signing up for Easy Pay Direct’s service.

  • Top of funnel (TOFU): Targeted specific interests and lookalike audiences with a 3-min video designed to give potential clients an introduction to the service and why it is necessary for their business.

  • Middle of funnel (MOFU): Targeted individuals that watched at least 75% of the TOFU video with a series of image ads designed to bring those people to the website to start an application.

  • Bottom of Funnel (BOFU): Targeted individuals who visited the website in the last 7 days but did not start the application.

Google Ads

I designed and implemented gmail inbox campaigns that target specific key phrases from error and problem messages sent to people from Easy Pay Direct’s competitors. This way we can target individuals that are experiencing issues with our competitors and bring them to us.

I also use Google Ads retargeting to retarget leads that started Easy Pay Direct’s application in order to get them to finish their application and use our service.

LinkedIn Ads

In order to help the sales department bring in more leads, I took advantage of LinkedIn message ads to message people who visited Easy Pay Direct’s website in order to spark up a conversation between the potential client and the sales rep.

Social Media Promotion and Content Calendar

Established Stockstotrade’s 1st social media department, developing key structural pieces including a monetization schedule, content calendar, creative production SOPs and building a team that could effectively execute them.

Lead a team of 4 using the roadmap I created from $0 to $30k/month revenue all while significantly growing following by 10%, reach by 50% and engagement by 300%.

Trained up the new social media team to effectively hand the reins to a new social media manager as I moved up and took on more responsibility.
